Thanks to Robin for sharing my family picture with the World. Although I do think they are the among the most beautiful people in the world! But that's just me. How about her new Blogsite? I apologize for not posting, but I just don't have a lot of spare time lying around. As you can see from the picture, the kids keep me busy. I am however making time to do a Metric Century tomorrow. (62 miles for those of us who have not yet converted) I'll send pictures if Robin can show me how. WOW, I'm friends with the WWW Famous Pensieve! She really is a talented writer that can capture an audience. That is obvious by her following. Oh by the way Robin, Thanks for announcing my Birthday. I can't believe I'm 29 already.

From the Bible Belt to the Beltway

Sorry to say I've never been to Washington DC before in my life. I've been all over the US and to several other countries overseas but never to our nation's capitol. I have a BS in Political Science and once considered going to Law School (only for about 5 minutes:) My Father-in-law is an attorney so I can say that. I have, although, been interested in politics ( I feel like I just said a bad word) from a distance. With that said, I have my first opportunity to go to Washington next month. Get this, I was chosen to attend the "Young Professionals Leadership Summit" I know someone who knows someone who knows Bill Frist hence getting an invitation. Should be interesting. I'm trying to get smart on an issue that's near and dear to my heart, the healthcare crisis. Anyone have any personal stories regarding healthcare, both good and bad, I would love to hear from you.

A Whole New World

WOW! I feel honored to have been introduced to this new community. It seemed so huge but now seems sorta small. I feel like I've known you for a while now. I guess because I've been reading my buddy's blog, so many of your names are familiar.
Nevertheless, I peeked at a couple of your sites and commented to a few of you. I enjoy sharing thoughts from the very serious to the very light! ie. Wal Mart Fart! Well, my son just asked me how much longer so I think I need to invest my time somewhere else. Have a great week-end.

Let's Slow Things Down

My oldest son started kindergarden today and my youngest son turned two yesterday. It seems like my daughter (7) was just born yesterday. I'm closing in on my 11th wedding anniversary. Wow, can't we just slow things down?
Well, this is my very first blog so I really don'y know what I am doing. I just thought I would put something on here for now and then stop back in later. My friend has sorta got me into this whole idea so I thought I would at least have my own Blog so I can express, praise, gripe, cry, vent or whatever now and then.
